Description

The Peyton Heart Project was created in 2015 in an effort to create a global project intend to help end suicide and bullying and the stigma surrounding mental health issues This heart was crocheted from rainbow-colored yarn in memory of Tyler Clementi (1991- 2010), an 18-year-old who ended his life by jumping off the George Washington Bridge as a result of cyber harassment (a form of cyberbullying) over his sexual orientation. This heart was produced before May 1^st 2016 so that it could be distributed during New York City’s Gay Pride March which took place on June 26, 2016.
