Description
This is a fat control skinfold caliber produced by Fat Control, Inc. This caliber was invented by Jack D. Osman, Ph.D., as an inexpensive version of the scientific Lange skinfold calipers. According to the company’s website, this caliber is accurate within 1 mm of the scientific calibers and is made entirely from a DuPont plastic material which is virtually inscrutable. The key to this caliber is a unique thumb pressure device that allows for consistent pressure at the tip, ensuring an accurate measurement. The back of the caliber has the following text engraved " Fat. Box 10117 Townson, MD. 21204."
