Description
The enema syringe was used to inject fluid into the lower bowel region by way of the rectum. It was most commonly used to relieve constipation or for bowel cleansing before a medical procedure/ examination.
The tin case was produced by “Boots The Chemists, Sick Room Requisites And Surgical Department.”
The enema syringe is marked “Guaranteed English Make Best Quality.” In addition, the syringe seemed to have broken due to age and the condition of the rubber.
