Description
This book contains the works of Robert Burns assembled by John Lockhart. The back cover (not photographed) and the bottom edge of the text block are stamped with the phrase "Dr. Max Morton Bergbolx Cumberland Hospital Brooklyn, New York." The top of the title page contains the name "Henry McClain" in cursive. One of the flyleafs is marked in pencil with script letters "Jo" (not photographed). A store sticker appears on the top left corner of the back of the cover it reads "From W.A. Leary's Cheap Book Store, No. 158 North Second Street corner of New. Philad'a'."
