All of the images in this collection were drawn by Paul L. Brink (1921-2017)
The drawings were created using a lithographic crayon technique, which required a unique type of embossed paper with a textured surface to achieve the proper effect. The paper, process and even the lithographic artists themselves are in short supply and are therefore, representative of a lost art.
The collection spans from the late 1960s up until 2009. When the artist passed away in 2017, the copyright authority was passed to his daughter, Judith Brink Drescher, Director of the James E. Tobin Library at Molloy University.
